Papers include correspondence, 1970's; clippings and publications on art and artists in the Bronx, 1950-1984; exhibit invitation, Art Community of the Bronx, 1974; copy of the New York State Charter, flyers, publications, and exhibition catalogs, 1974-1977, Bronx Museum of the Arts; minutes, including those of the formation meeting, 1967, Bronx Committee on the Arts; minutes, correspondence, reports, and exhibition catalogs, 1968-1974, Bronx Council on the Arts; brochure for Bronx Week, 1972; and report, poster, and list of Bronx artists, 1971-1976. Also, programs, clippings, and brochures relating to the reopening of the Exhibit Hall at the New York Botanical Garden, with autograph by William O. Douglas, 1974; papers of the New York State Council on the Arts, Poe Cottage, and the Bronx Society of Arts and Letters; photographs of children's ward mural, with Casher's unpublished article, 1958; and an exhibit directed by Casher of paintings from the Metropolitan Museum of Art at the Bronx County Courthouse, 1971. Collection includes a citation of honor, 1971, signed by Robert Abrams.
